The Professional Engineers of Ontario Algonquin Chapter is hosting an information session to present to highlight the process to become a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario. This session will focus on the process if a candidate is called in for a experience interview, including what to expect and how to appeal a decision made by experience review committee.
There will also be a presentation done by the Ontario Soceity of Professional Engineers (OSPE). OSPE works closely with PEO to provide a variety of networking events, job fairs, and training courses, tailored to the needs of EITs and young engineers.
All prospective Professional Engineers and Engineering Interns are invited to this event.
The presentation will include:
- Acceptable engineering education and Licensing requirements
- Engineering review committee and appeals process
- One-on-one review of your engineering experience
- The many ways OSPE can help EITs take their careers to the next level, including what OSPE is, the EIT process, and what OSPE support services are available for EITs to successfully obtain their P.Eng licence
