PIPSC & CRPEG has launched the “Do it Right” campaign for the GoCo model of managing AECL’s laboratories.
- Canada’s nuclear laboratories can be managed effectively and profitably under a proposed new government-owned, contractor-operated model. But only if it’s done right.
- Ensuring that adequate jobs, pensions and benefits are maintained is crucial to securing Canada’s international competitive advantage in nuclear expertise, technology, innovation and safety. Without them, the public risks incurring the liability, while the private sector reaps the profit.
- Everyone wins when we do it right.
