CRPEG filed an unfair labour practice complaint against the Employer (CNL) on June 15, 2015 based on direct communication regarding negotiations sent to employees on May 12, 2015.
The Employer and CRPEG met at the Canada Industrial Relations Board on November 24, 2015 to resolve the dispute, with the assistance of a CIRB-appointed mediator.
The Employer recognizes that the May 12, 2015 communication has negatively impacted the union-employer relationship.
