Hello CRPEG members, Further to the communication provided by the company today, the CRPEG executives wanted to remind members that CRPEG members have access to options for leave including CLC personal leave day for your child’s education. Please refer to CRPEG leave type summary document on the CRPEG internal page for further reference.
You also have options for alternate work schedules (where your work hours are adjusted) that cannot be unreasonably denied by your manager. The company has a duty to accommodate your caregiving obligations and you can read more about what the Canadian Human Rights Commission says about this.
